Top 10 Georgia defensive players for 2023 HS football season
9. Ricardo Jones, Sr., Northside
Jones has been a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks during his high school career. The safety racked up 13 interceptions in his sophomore and junior seasons, including six in a shortened junior year where he only played seven games due to injury. Standing at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, Jones also excels on the basketball court. He earned the Georgia Region 1-AAAAAA Offensive Player of the Year award in his junior season while averaging 16.9 points for the Eagles. The four-star recruit committed to the Clemson Tigers in June.
