9. Callen Barta, S, Seaman

Barta didn’t get a scholarship offer the first time he made an impression on Nebraska coaches. That wasn’t the case the second time around.

He caught the eye of the Cornhuskers at a camp in June, then went on an official visit to Nebraska the next weekend. He committed on the spot.

A two-way starter for Seaman, he had 26 tackles and two interceptions as a junior. His length — he’s 6-foot-2 — and speed (4.43 40-yard dash) will translate nicely to the college level.
