Top 10 Pennsylvania HS football players in Class of 2024

8. Samaj Jones, QB, St. Joseph’s Prep

Pennsylvania’s Class of 2024 is deeper at several other positions than it is at quarterback, but Jones is undoubtedly one of the top players in the Keystone State. Last year, he led St. Joseph’s Prep to a PIAA Class 6A state championship, passing for 2,526 yards and 32 touchdowns while also showing dual-threat capability as he ran for another 740 yards and 14 scores. The 5-foot-11, 220-pound quarterback saved his best football for when the lights were brightest, throwing for 262 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 89 yards and another score in the state title game. Jones will be looking to win back-to-back championships with the Hawks in 2023 before he heads off to Cincinnati.
