Top 10 MLB players who competed in Little League World Series

2. Boog Powell, 1954

Powell is one of the oldest players on this list, but also one of the most successful. Growing up in Florida, Powell played with Orange Little League out of Lakeland, Florida in 1954, making it to the Little League World Series that year.

He would go on to play at Key West High School before eventually beginning his pro baseball career with the Orioles where he became a four-time All-Star and won the American League MVP award in 1970. Powell would finish his career in Cleveland and later Los Angeles with the Dodgers with a .266 batting average, 339 home runs, 1,187 RBIs and 1,176 hits.
