The Knights have seen improvement in recent years with Risner at quarterback. After going 6-5 in 2021 and missing the playoffs, Risner amassed 2,296 yards and 19 scores on nearly 300 pass attempts in 11 games in the 2022 season. Fairview advanced to the playoffs following a 9-1 season, losing in the first round. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound senior will have one more chance to gain a playoff win with the Knights.
