Top 10 Louisiana QBs for 2023 high school football season
2. Daniel Beale, Sr., Catholic-Baton Rouge
Arguably the best pocket passer in the Creole State, Beale excelled during his junior year with the Bears as he led the team to an 11-2 record and an appearance in the Division I Select Final Four. Individually, Beale showed off his impressive arm with 2,623 yards and 38 touchdowns while he also rushed for four more scores.
Beale is considered a consensus three-star recruit and is ranked as high as the No. 51 prospect in Louisiana by 247 Sports. Given his standing as a top recruit, Beale earned 10 offers including from Colorado State, Houston, Louisiana-Monroe, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, North Texas and Tulane but he ultimately committed to Louisiana-Lafayette on June 25.
