Top 10 Louisiana QBs for 2023 high school football season
7. Peyton Fulgham, Sr., Evangel Christian
The first rising senior on this list, Fulgham had a tremendous junior season. During the campaign, the quarterback threw for 2,392 yards, 23 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while rushing for five more scores for a 7-5 Eagles team that made the Division II Select playoffs.
While Fulgham had a strong junior campaign, that hasn’t turned into much high-level recruiting attention. To date, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound signal caller holds offers to NAIA Evangel University, D-II Ouachita Baptist University and Southern Arkansas and FCS Nicholls State. With another good season, however, perhaps Fulgham could earn more opportunities over his senior year.
