2. Samaj Jones, Sr., St. Joseph’s Prep

Jones is undoubtedly one of the top signal callers in the Keystone State this season and will bring a lot of experience to the field for St. Joseph’s Prep. Last season, the 5-foot-11, 220-pound quarterback proved his elite potential on the biggest stage, passing for 262 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for an additional 89 yards and a score in the Hawks’ PIAA Class 6A state championship victory. On the year, Jones passed for 2,526 yards and 32 touchdowns while also rushing 740 yards and 14 scores. The speedy dual-threat quarterback will have a chance at back-to-back state titles this fall before heading off to play at Cincinnati.
