AUSTIN, Texas (BVM) – Last year’s headliners in running backs Rueben Owens and Kedrick Reescano have made way for a new group of rushers set to take center stage in the state of Texas as the high school football season gets set to kick off.
With talent coming from around the region, a deep running back class should position a number of players from the state into this year’s spotlight. From some of last season’s workhorses to budding playmakers, the state of Texas should be in for some high level play this fall.
