Top 10 Texas RBs for 2023 high school football season
10. Nate Palmer, Sr., Decatur
Topping 2,000 rushing yards in his junior campaign helped put the Decatur running back among some of the top backs in the state. With 2,250 rushing yards and 33 scores, Palmer would go on to earn third-team all-state honors and the attention of his Eagles’ competition. The four-star TCU commit could be set for a repeat performance in his final season, as Palmer aims to build off the team’s deep playoff run from 2022’s 4A Division I state semifinals.
