Every ACC football program’s best season of all time
Georgia Tech: 1952
As one of the earliest pioneers of successful college football it comes as no surprise that Georgia Tech had a few teams to choose from, but arguably none is better than the 1952 squad. That year, the Yellow Jackets went a perfect 12-0 while outscoring opponents 325-59 with four shutouts.
Georgia Tech earned the No. 2 ranking in the AP poll prior to playing No. 7 Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl. The Yellow Jackets soundly defeated the Rebels 24-7 to earn a share of the national championship with Michigan State.
