Cross Country Tabbed 10th in MAAC Coaches’ Poll

Edison, N.J.—The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced the results of its annual preseason coaches’ poll for cross-country. The Niagara men’s team was tabbed 10th while the women’s team was also tabbed 10th. Alissa Mete finished third among Purple Eagles at NCAA Regionals to close out the 2022 season. Mete turned in a time of 24:33.5 at the final race of the season. Earlier in the season she finished the Paul Short Invitational with a time of 23:30 which is the 10th best 6k time in program history.
