PREP VOLLEYBALL: Hoopeston Area falls to PBL

PAXTON — The Hoopeston Area volleyball team fought to the end on Tuesday against Paxton-Buckley-Loda. The Cornjerkers won the second set and rallied from a 10-point deficit to close the third set up before the Panthers were able to win 25-15, 13-25, 25-23. Kaitlynn Lange had six kills, while Brylie Cox had four kills for Hoopeston Area, who will play Attica on Thursday.
