Six players who have played for the most MLB franchises
Matt Stairs, 12 teams
If the universal DH went into effect 10 years earlier, it may have extended Stairs’ 19-year career a little bit longer. The .262 career hitter did not get called up to the major leagues until he was 24 years old, but he still managed to play for a third of the teams in MLB. Stairs’ longest stint was a five-year stay in Oakland. He placed 17th in MVP voting with the Athletics in 1999.
