Wolves Picked Ninth in Pre-Season Poll

CARROLLTON, Ga. – As we stand just over a week away from the first meet of the 2023 season, the Gulf South Conference has released the 2023 pre-season poll with the Wolves picked ninth. West Georgia received 56 points in the poll, finishing above rival Valdosta State, Delta State, West Alabama, and Shorter. After three top-five finishes in 2022, UWG returns eight runners to their 2023 roster, led by Adela Belohlavova who set personal bests in the 4K and 5K events with times of 16:22.43 and 19:27.07, respectively.
