Lady Hornets fall to UAB in home opener

MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Alabama State dropped its home opener to UAB 4-1 on a hot, humid night at the ASU Soccer Complex on Thursday night. Alabama State (0-2-1) fell behind early after a pair of goals by UAB (1-2) in the 12th minute opener the game up, before the Blazers added another just minutes into the second half. Alabama State was able to trim the lead with 17 minutes left in the match for its only goal of the match.
