Top 10 Alabama defensive players for 2023 HS football season
2. Na’eem Offord, Jr., Parker
While Beaman terrorizes offenses from the defensive line, Offord lurks in the Thundering Herd secondary. The cornerback recorded 40 tackles last season, including seven for a loss, and two interceptions. He earned second-team all-state honors as an athlete for his efforts.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound corner is ranked as one of the top players in the Class of 2025 as he is the No. 4 player in the country and No. 2 player in the state by On3. Offord holds 36 scholarship offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, Texas and USC and is considered one of the crown jewels of the state’s junior class.
