8. Jeremiah Beaman, Sr., Parker
Another senior defender, Beaman was an elite defensive end for the Thundering Herd last season. During the year, Beaman recorded 50 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 10 sacks and three interceptions for the 7-5 Parker squad that made it to the Class 6A playoffs. He earned second-team all-state for his efforts.
The 6-foot-4, 255-pound lineman is considered one of the best defensive ends in the country, as he is rated the No. 71 player nationally by 247 Sports and the No. 6 player in the state by Rivals. Beaman held 23 offers from many of the country’s top programs, but ultimately chose to commit to in-state Alabama.
