9. Caleb Dozier, Sr., Headland

Dozier is heading into his senior year after being one of the top pass-catching tight ends in the state a year ago. Last fall, Dozier recorded 54 catches for 1,009 yards and 11 touchdowns as he helped his Rams to a 6-5 record and an appearance in the Class 5A playoffs. Dozier was named Class 5A second-team all-state for his efforts. 

With his all-state performance, the 6-foot-3, 225-pound two-way star earned plenty of love from scouts as he is ranked as a consensus three-star recruit and as high as the No. 30 player in the state by ESPN. Dozier held eight offers from the likes of Houston, Troy, UAB and UCF but ultimately chose to commit to the SEC’s Mississippi State.
