SOCCER CENTRAL: Grambling

BEAUMONT, Texas – After a dramatic win against Sam Houston on Thursday night, Lamar University’s soccer team looks to make it two in a row as they will hit the road this Sunday to meet Grambling. The kickoff starts at 6 p.m. Previously on LU Soccer 23 The Cardinals needed an 89th minute goal to pull out the victory. It came courtesy of a cross from Arely Alaniz and took a fortunate bounce off of a Bearkats’ defender before finding the open net. The Cardinals ended a 179-minute scoreless drought.
