Wilson football opens season with loss to Roman Catholic

Wilson fell in its football season opener on Friday night. The Bulldogs lost 49-14 to Roman Catholic in a non-league game at Upper Dublin. Wilson fell behind 13-0 in the first quarter, as Roman Catholic quarterback Semaj Beals found Dazhaun Hopkins for a 6-yard score. Just over two minutes later, Lou Gaddy intercepted Bulldogs quarterback Tom Hunsicker and ran it back for a 68-yard touchdown.
