Joliet Catholic QB Andres R. Muñoz ensures win
JOLIET, Ill. — First time starter for the Hilltoppers, Andres R. Muñoz (5’11 170 QB, Holder), did his part to ensure the Hilltoppers took home a victory against Iowa City High School with 8/10 throws complete adding up to 114 passing yards. As if the game hadn’t got intense enough for the Little Hawks, Andres ran with the ball, taking a finishing dive to complete 16 rushing yards just short of the goal line.
Thereafter, the running back ran in three yards for the score. As the game continued, Iowa got a flag called on them for a face mask against Andres, resulting in his helmet flying off. Soon after, Andres left the game with his helmet and a total of three touchdowns ensuring that he and his teammates took the game, winning 48-13 against Iowa.
