Women’s Cross Country Picked Second in GLIAC Preseason Coaches Poll
DETROIT — The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) released its yearly preseason coaches poll for cross country on Tuesday afternoon, and the Wayne State University women’s squad was chosen to finish second in the conference for the 2023 campaign. It was the best that WSU was placed in any of the five cross country preseason coaches polls conducted by the GLIAC (2018 to 2023, excluding 2020 due to COVID-19).
