Cross Country opens season in Richmond Saturday

LEXINGTON, Va. – After weeks of training, the VMI cross country teams are set to compete at the Spider Alumni Open hosted by the University of Richmond Saturday morning at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsburg, Virginia. The men will run a 6K race at 9:15 a.m. (3 laps on a 2K course) and the women’s team will run a 4K race (2 laps) at approximately 9:50 a.m. Course Map After the races, VMI fans and parents are invited to join the team at Panera Bread (11703 W.
