UW men open season No. 5 in USTFCCCA Poll

MADISON, Wis. – After earning the program’s 53rd Big Ten Conference title a year ago, the Wisconsin men’s cross country team will open the year ranked No. 5 in the country according to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association National Coaches’ Poll that the association announced Wednesday. The Badgers are just one of two teams in the Big Ten Conference to appear in the rankings and the highest ranked, UW, is joined by Michigan (27) in the rankings.
