Top 10 Texas defensive players for 2023 HS football season
2. Justin Williams, Sr., Oak Ridge
The Oak Ridge hybrid defender did it all during his junior season, getting in the backfield for 18 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks during the 2022 campaign. With 105 tackles this past season, Williams would go on to be named the Texas District 13-6A Defensive Player of the Year. The switch from safety to linebacker has been the perfect combination for the War Eagles who are coming off a 7-4 campaign. The Georgia commit will have a chance to build on the year as Oak Ridge aims to improve in 2023.
This is why Conroe (Texas) Oak Ridge 2024 4 ⭐️ LB Justin Williams is being recruited by some of the top programs in the nation.
