The Army West Point men’s cross country team secured a victory at the Maine Black Bear Cross Country Invitational. Led by Erick Lara’s second-place finish, the team demonstrated strong fitness and impressive performance. Newcomers Andrew Littlehales and Marc Baroncini also showcased their potential. The team’s success in this race sets a positive tone for future competitions. With a score of 26, Army claimed first place, while New Hampshire and Maine tied for second. The team now prepares for the Iona Meet of Champions on Sept. 15 in New Rochelle, N.Y.
