Carver Takes 1st, Leads XC at Westminster
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Mackenzie Carver paced the field of 58 for a first-place finish on Friday, helping the Golden Eagle cross country team to a big second-place finish at the Fisher Invite hosted by Westminster. Clarion finished second only to Division I Robert Morris, with three top-10 finishers and four in the top-14. Carver took the lead not only among her teammates but among the entire assembled field, finishing the 5K race with a time of 18:52.55.
