Cross country opens campaign with Memphis Twilight

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Sept. 1, 2023) – The University of North Alabama cross country team will begin the 2023 season this weekend in atypical fashion, as the Lions will run a late night race at the City Auto Memphis Twilight Classic on Saturday in Memphis, Tenn. Instead of the usual morning time race, the Lions will compete well past evening hours as the women’s team begins at 9:20 p.m. The men’s race will follow at 10 p.m. The races will be held at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex and will be hosted by Christian Brothers University.
