IUP men finish second, women fifth at Father Bede Invitational

TYRONE, Pa. – The IUP men’s and women’s cross country programs opened up the 2023 season with the Father Bede Invitational, hosted by St. Francis (Pa.) on Friday afternoon. The IUP men’s team finished second overall in the 10-team race, placing its entire scoring lineup among the top 15. Dan Gibney paced the IUP finishers in fourth place with his 6K time of 19:32.4.
