Lady Buffs Finish First at Big Country Festival

ABILENE, Texas – The No. 16 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M scored 26 points at the Big Country Festival to finish 30 points above second place finishers, TAMU-Commerce. WT had four runners finish in the Top 6 to lead the Lady Buffs to victory. Sophomore Sarah Koomson led the womens 5k race with a 3:42/k pace to finish with a 18:31.7 time, with over 2+ seconds ahead of the competition.
