Lady Flames Place Second At Tennessee Cross Country Invitational

RESULTS KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The 12th-ranked Lee University women’s cross country team opened its season with a second-place finish at the Tennessee Cross Country Invitational. The three-mile race was held at Cherokee Farms Cross Country Course. The Lady Vols claimed the top seven scoring positions to post a perfect team score of 15 points to claim the overall win. Lee was second with 56 points, while Tennessee Tech (89) and Chattanooga (99) were third and fourth, respectively. Chesney Peterson was the individual winner with a time of 17:18.10.
