Limo sets course record as Cougs return to action in WSU Alumni Open

COLFAX, Wash. — Kelvin Limo set the all-time Washington State men’s cross country teams home course record with a time of 17:24.3 to win the men’s 6k and Neema Kimtai recorded the third-fastest 4k time in women’s cross country history at 13:25.6 as the Cougars returned to action Friday at the Colfax Golf Club. Cristina Molteni finished the women’s 4k in 13:34.1 while her teammate Caroline Jerotich finished just behind in 13:35.7, the sixth-fastest all-time in WSU women’s program history.
