Cross Country Opens Season on North Shore of O‘ahu

KAHUKU, Hawai’i – The University of Hawai’i at Hilo Women’s Cross Country team opened its 2023 season on the North Shore of O’ahu at the Big Wave Invitational (5K) hosted by UH Manoa at the Kahuku Golf Course. The Vulcans only had four of its runners participating — one below the minimum threshold to score as a team in the standings. Still, the Vulcans got their first taste of competition for the season as Olivia Jarvis returned to action after sitting out a season ago.
