RSU Comes Away With Hard Fought Draw Against Missouri S&T To Start Season
CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State men’s soccer (0-0-1) fought to a 0-0 draw with Missouri S&T (0-0-1) in the season opener on Friday. Declan Viljoen registered his first shutout of the season, making five saves. After a brief offensive attack from the Miners to open the game, the Hillcats took over and controlled possession of the ball for most of the first half, outshooting S&T 11-4 with seven shots on goal compared to just two, while also earning eight corner kicks to two.
