Stags host West Ashley in hall of fame game Sept. 8

Berkeley High School’s annual hall of fame football game is Friday, Sept. 8, against West Ashley. For the 12th time, the school will recognize a new group of hall of fame inductees: Bill Shipley Jr. (1971), Rob Watson (1992), Kesha Peace (1992), Thomas Brittle (2008) and Bruce Ellington (2010). The banquet to officially induct the Berkeley greats is slated for 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at the school. Tickets are $10 and dinner is included.
