UC Men’s and Women’s XC Finish Second and Third at Virginia Tech Invitational

Blacksburg, Va.—On Friday, University of Charleston Cross Country competed in the Virginia Tech Invitational where the women placed third and the men placed second above Marshall University. Freshman George Couttie led the Golden Eagles to a second place finish, as he set the Virginia Tech course record for the men’s race and a new school record for the 6k with a time of 17 minutes and 57 seconds.
