Women place 1st, Men 2nd at Memphis Twilight

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Blue Raider women’s cross-country team placed first in the team standings while the men’s team finished second Saturday night in the season opener at the Memphis Twilight Classic. In both the men’s and women’s races the Blue Raiders placed the top two times. In the 5k women’s race, Faith Nyathi and Purity Sanga placed at the top. In the men’s 4-mile run, Habtamu Geta and Brian Kiptoo led the way.
