Women’s Cross Country, Cross Country: Balanced Effort Leads Cortland Women to Third Place at Houghton

HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Five top-20 finishers helped the Cortland women’s cross country team place third out of nine schools at the season-opening Houghton Highlander Short Course Invitational. Cortland finished with 75 points, just six behind second-place Nazareth and eight better than fourth-place Brockport. Rochester won the team title with 34 points and D’Youville rounded out the top five with 97 points. (NOTE: The team point totals in the online results are not calculated correctly.)
