Women’s cross country wins W&J Invitational

(Sept. 1) – The Waynesburg University women’s cross country team got the 2023 season off to a a great start while competing in Friday’s Washington & Jefferson Invitational. The Yellow Jackets bested four other schools to take the team title at South Strabane Community Park. Waynesburg’s championship run was fueled by three top-10 performances. Sophomore Reagan Pettis (West Springfield, Pa. / Northwestern) led the trio with the fifth-place time of 21:08.75.
