Men’s Soccer Downed by Oregon State on Monday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men’s soccer (0-3) jumped to an early lead against Oregon State (3-1) scoring in the fourth minute but gave up three unanswered goals and fell 3-1 on Monday afternoon inside Stevens Stadium. HOW IT HAPPENED: In the fourth minute, Pierce Dyal pounced on a rebound shot by Tyrone Kirunda to put it past Oregon State goalkeeper Jesus Sanchez from close range that gave Santa Clara an early 1-0 lead.
