Petruzziello Named Liberty League Rookie of the Week

TROY, N.Y. – First-year Stephen Petruzziello of the Union College football team was named the Liberty League Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday. Petruzziello made an immediate impact in his collegiate debut in Saturday’s win against Hilbert College. The Randolph, N.J. native rushed for 164 yards of offense on 24 carries and two touchdowns. Late in the third quarter, on fourth-and-two, the first-year running back rushed up the middle for his first collegiate touchdown.
