Riccardo Named ACC Defensive Player Of The Week

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – UNC senior Romea Riccardo has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week following a successful weekend by the Tar Heels at the ACC/Ivy League Conference Crossover in Philadelphia, Pa. Playing in her home state, Riccardo anchored a Tar Heel defense that gave up just one goal and eight shots in winning games over Penn and Princeton.
