Swartz earns Top 15 finish as Wheaton men’s golf team begins fall season at Aurora Invite

Aurora, Ill. — The 2023-24 season began on Tuesday morning for the Thunder men’s golf team as Wheaton took the short trip to nearby Aurora to compete in the Spartans’ ‘Double Gun’ Invite. The competition consisted of 19 teams representing 12 different schools, and Wheaton eventually claimed a T-seventh finish to start the year off on a strong note. Junior Jonah Swartz began his third season on the team in impressive fashion, shooting a two-round score of 155 (+11) to earn a T-14th placement in the 97-player field.
