Thunder volleyball hosts No. 4 Calvin in Wheaton’s home opener

Wheaton, Ill. – The Wheaton volleyball team (1-3) hosted fourth-ranked Calvin University (4-0) on Tuesday night in King Arena. The Knights defeated the Thunder 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-22). Caroline Capps led the Thunder with 13 kills and Emerson Traweek added nine. Ashton Major tallied four kills and Bree Gilbert registered three. Lacey Higgins distributed 31 assists for the hosts and Major recorded two service aces. Capps had a team-high 10 digs, as Major had a solo block and an assisted block.
