Charles Woodson, Michigan

Charles Woodson helped the Wolverines to a combined record of 29-8 and a national title, but his crowning achievement came in 1997, becoming the first and only defender to win the Heisman Trophy. He also made contributions on offense, hauling in 11 catches for 231 yards and three TDs during Michigan’s 12-0 season.
