Moran Named MAAC Women’s Runner of the Week

Golden Griffins graduate student Olivia Moran has been named MAAC Women’s Runner of the week following her first-place finish at the Little Three Championship last week. Moran won the women’s 5K with a time of 17:51.0. set a new 5K PR besting her previous time of 18:50.7 by nearly a whole minute. After coming in fourth at the Little Three Championship last year Moran knocked over a minute off of her time. Canisius is set to run next weekend at the Jasper Fall XC Invitational in Montgomery, N.Y. hosted by Manhattan on September, 16 at 10 am.
