Junior William Schimitsch brings leadership and enthusiasm to the Holy Cross cross country and track and field teams – in 2022, he ran personal bests in the 10k (32:45.4) at the NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Championship, in the 8k (23:18.1) at the Lehigh Paul Short Run and in the 5k (16:12.6) at the Suffolk Short Course Classic. The captain was also selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in each of his first two years.
