UNC football player Jordan Knapke is transitioning to a new position as a flash in the Bears’ defense. Previously a defensive backfield player, Knapke is now playing as a hybrid between a safety and a linebacker. This change was made due to his versatility as an athlete and his ability to come up in run support while still matching up with receivers or running backs. Knapke’s leadership skills and his role as a quarterback of the defense make him a valuable asset on the team. Fans can look forward to seeing him in action during the home opener against Incarnate Word.
