10 NFL teams that have won the Super Bowl after 0-1 start
New York Giants, 2007
The 2007 Giants are the last team to win a Super Bowl after going 0-2 to start the season. Early in the campaign, it appeared that the New York team was doomed thanks to losses to the division rival Cowboys 45-35 in Week 1 and the Packers 35-13 in Week 2.
While the Giants made it into the postseason, they weren’t as successful getting there as they made it in as a wild card team with a 10-6 record. However, once in the playoffs, New York went on a spectacular run that included three straight road victories over the Bucs, Cowboys and Packers. Facing the undefeated Patriots in Super Bowl XLII, the Giants played the ultimate spoiler by winning the championship 17-14.
